A Semester in Ecuador

In the spring semester of 2023, I left my home, family, and friends to travel to Quito, Ecuador. While abroad, I met many wonderful people and had many new experiences. These adventures include: climbing to the top of the country's largest church, balancing on the equator, white water rafting in Baños, feeding alpacas in an indigenous community, snorkeling in the Galapagos, hiking a volcano in Cayambe, and much more.

In just four short months, I went from being nervous to order in Spanish at a restaurant to giving a 25-minute presentation, leading educational workshops, and even going to the hair salon.
